I live in miami and I keep a frag tank on my patio outside. This tank is a 65 gal aga and is lit by a 250w se hamilton and a 175w se hamilton both 14k. the temp on this tank in mid summer consistently stay at 83-85 degreesImaintained w/ a fan over sump). I get great color and very good growth. I am thinking that the higher temp causes the increase in growth, which would make sense since the metabolic rate of corals is increased w/ higher temps.

bottom line does anyone else keep there frag tanks at a higher temp to help increase growth?

thanks,
Jess
