Hello
I just changed to the Neptune apex system for dosing and managing additives. My issue is as follows readings:
1. My alk when testing manually reads 8.3
My trident reading is 6.75 dkh
2 my mag when testing manually reads 1410
My trident test reading shows 1276
3. Calcium readings are the same 440

I’m wondering what should I trust most; manual or automated testing?
My trident was properly calibrated

Unless you are going to manually override your automatic system constantly, then the answer is that you go by your automatic system and use those measurements as the baselines for how your tank behaves, right?

Just grow it: Have you ever added CO2 to your reef tank?
