*This is for your main display for all you MTS peeps! :p

I'm sitting here wondering what the average display size aquarium of our forum members is so it's time for us to find out! Yes we've asked before but things change, people upsize and downsize etc..

So please vote and let us know! Share a photo for extra credit!

After you vote please make a post in this thread telling us about any future upgrades or downgrades!

I would guess if you add up the gallons it's probably in the 150 gallon range - brought up by the monster tanks.
The average person is probably around 75 gallons with lots of 90,120,150 gallon tanks as well as 40g breeders, larger nano's ect.

Incidentally I call my main display "Average Reef" since it's about average size although slightly unusual dimensions despite being a stock tank : 60x18x24 = 112 gallons.
I also have a 90 gallon a 55 gallon and a 10.

Should we consider individual tanks, or full systems? I have a 75g, 50g and 10g (being upgraded to 20L). That would make my "average" tank size about 50g... but my overall, tied together system counting sump would be roughly 165g.

Mine is around 650 litres so around 170 US gallons I think

But I have ‘very big’ urges to go huge but am restraining myself for the time being! Lol

We’re’s or what’s my extra credit then?! Lol

This is an interesting observation. As I read the initial post I was wondering if the average would be pulled down by the popularity of mini/micro reefs. May need to add mean, mode, median, and range to the analysis - good stuff!
