There's a wrasse lovers thread, an angel lovers thread, even a tang lovers thread "show off your tangs" for some reason. But no one's sharing the love for our dear CUC. Lets get that started, shall we?

Here you can:
1. Share pictures of your CUC doing CUC things, or perhaps doing things CUC should not be doing but are funny or infuriating in any case.
2. Ask questions about what CUC is best for which job; how much CUC you need; can these CUC go together; will this CUC nuke my tank/eat my corals/murder my fish, etc.
3. Engage in interesting scientific discussion of CUC biology, phylogeny, herbology... wait, something's not right.

I'll start. Behold, the most photogenic member of my CUC! And a darn good sand bed cleaner!

We're talking inverts here, folks. Keep your herbivorous fish in their own lover threads or we will taunt you a second time.

Oh that's a good photo. Deets on the camera and the subjects?
Canon 80D with EFS 60mm macro lens.

On top, ceritheum snail shell with a small local hermit, on the bottom a dog whelk or nassarius snail (same thing?). I was pleased you can even make out the snail's eye. :)

Very nice. I'm tagging you if we ever get a photo of the month contest with CUC as the subject.

Pitho crab knocking over loose corals on the sand bed. It's not a tidy member of the CUC, but I don't have the type of concern with these that I do with emerald crabs going rogue on corals. So far I've only seen my pitho crabs eating algae or nori when there's no algae.

FYI, for those of you with wrasses, my nerites were TOAST, all except for the ninja star nerite. It seems like they weren't able to topple the ninja star over as easily, perhaps because it's shell gave it so much more cover over its foot.

Which? The one under the pitho is a space invader pectinia. It's grown a lot from that little piece:

The bottom pic was an orange funghia plate. One of my favorites.

Definitely the orange plate. Beautiful coral. Thanks for the ID! How easy are these to keep?
