Your little rhomboid is a stunner, he's a touch bigger than my brand new rhomboid, mine travelled half the world to Aus though lol and I've got one of two in the country lol

We actually have (2) C. rhomboidalis - I gave up on trying to get them both in the same shot, so just posted pics of them separately. Thanks so much for the kind words and congrats on your rhomboid! I did not realize they were so rare in Australia. They are one of our absolute favorite fairy wrasses and grow up to be stunning males.

Ive been saving this thread to read on a rainy day. Today is that day and this tank is beautiful. The fish selections is wonderful. Hoping the best for it as it matures and I will be following along!

Look closely, and you'll see our transitioning M. bipartitus (AKA Demon Spawn) putting on a show. He is most definitely in the "ugly" stage of the change too.

I'm jealous of your two! Haha yep, very rare and expensive in Australia but I simply couldn't pass the opportunity up! One of my absolute favourites as well! Your tank is looking amazing given the age too

Thanks Wrangy! that's very kind of you to say! It helps that we were able to migrate over a number of small SPS colonies and frags from the old system.
