Tunze 9001 or 9004 skimmer for IM nuvo 30L

Exactly as the title says. I have a very high bioload in my nuvo 30L and lots of excess food/waste that I believe a skimmer will help. A few questions, is the DC worth the extra money? 9001 model vs 9004 model? if 9004 will it fit in the overflow chamber?
