Yes, but no reason to rush it, I am out of sensors until Tuesday.

Address is what you have there.

Ok I’m actually in canyon lake, it looks like you’re not too far away. I could come drop it off in person after you get the sensors in. If you’d prefer mail that’s fine but wouldn’t mind just dropping it off in person.

You can come by, my only hesitation is we are not really set up as a business open to the public, we are the distributor and it is just myself and one employee in a warehouse, we open early and close early, we are here 8-4 M-Th and 8-2 Fri. We do leave periodically for mail, bank, lunch, etc, so you would want to call first. 512-833-7546. I generally cannot do repairs in a while you wait scenario so it would be dropping it off and picking it up typically the next morning.

We call for cc info after the repair is done, it is not necessary to put it to anyones attention.

Just found this thread with the exact same issue as the OP. I will be sending in another one in the morning from Killeen. I will only send the controller and sensors. Thank you for the support.

I envy all you guys who live in the US! I’m in Finland and now having this issue after 1 month, it worked fine before. I’ll try the vinegar trick. Thanks for all the helpful info!

My best guess would be the sensor has a wire break or possibly is unplugged inside the controller. If you send me the controller, I can get it repaired within a day.
He bud you seem to be the expert and is there a way to use a voltage meter to trouble shoot the wire break in the 3155 tunze and repair yourself?

Hey rvitko, I just found this thread and having the same issue of having to unplug it. My unit is newer than 2021, can I send it in for repair? And how do I pay for it?

If you get the too low red light, you likely either need a pump or your system is just too low from running out of water. If you have a green level light and the level is low on one this new you can replace the sensor yourself. Part 5017.300, it can be ordered on Tunze.com. Please ignore it if it says out of stock, in our case we make almost every part in house, all out of stock means is the part is in storage or production and not bagged for retail sale, it is available and just has a couple days delay to be packaged and in this case, it is irrelevant as US orders ship from the US and we have that part here.

Oh awesome thank you! I just put an order in for one. Yeah it wasn't replenishing water and was saying the water level was fine when it was low.

They use an infrared LED and infrared receiver, these parts do fail with age, they are on 24/7. While they are "the same" provided they are made after 2015, they vary slightly in voltage signal and for this reason when a sensor is replaced, the circuit board needs to be calibrated to the new sensor. We do have sensors back in stock, they are $29.49 installed.
Are u still repairing 3155 ATO
My saying low water all the time

Garay,

I replied to your other messages, my hunch is there is no need to send this for repair, you likely need a new pump or your system is more than 2 gallons low and it is simply a normal time out.
