Hi WBG, I'm sorry for my delayed reply! I guess I still haven't figured out how to make the notifications work.

Anyhow, yes, both sides of every Tunze magnet are fully waterproof. The style magnet that is not encased in epoxy is a ceramic based magnetic material. It's the same material that impellers are made of.
