A buddy of mine just picked up a mated pair of True Perculas and was wondering how long he can keep them in a 8'x4'x1.5' frag tank with a pair of Black Occy Clowns?

The deal on the Trues was just too good to pass up but he didn't have a second tank completely cycled (maybe halfway through).

Thanks.

As long as they don't bother each other probably indefinite.... 8ftx 4ftx 1.5ft? that's a massive tank so I think you and your buddy could probably be in there with no problems.

Awesome! Thanks!

He'll be glad to hear. Guess his second tank can now be used to raise the baby B. Cardinals. Can't wait until my adults come in....gah!

No problem at all. I had a pair of black and the regular orange in a 6ft 125g with no problems except one of the blacks and orange mated up together.. :)

as long as they arent same species you usually dont have a problem, especially with black and whites...their color difference alone should keep the piece...not true and false percs...that might be a problem...

However my white cap clowns...well they are just mean as hell...they will go after GSM given the chance...

Your proposed combo...no issues in my opinion.

The fun part will be catching them in that swimming pool of a frag tank :)
