My oldest son collects freshwater amphipods for his tank and it amazing how they look exactly like their saltwater brothers and sisters.No just too the native tank
But as far as the reef tank I was not sure so I never put any in but like you say maybe a good food for the fish I have 2 common prawns in the reef from the native and they are loving it they are super clean up crew eating all the leftovers and c@@p

Ya, I’ve thought about that as well, seems like a lot of extra work but I know they are very nutritious. Maybe after I see how it goes for you I’ll give it a shot as well.Free food
