Well, it's fairly common to detect none, but that cannot really say if there is enough or not, Depends on how low it actually is, but it's a fine plan to experiment with trace element dosing.

According to britewell replenish, which I dose weekly, it should have both in it. Having said that, does my tank want to consume those more. And I should add does them separately?

IMO, the only way to know is to dose more and see if the tank responds in a positive way.

I run the Moonshine method and have always been low on both elements. I have started dosing both these elements daily. Currently dose 1mL each on my 120.
