I want to put my ATO reservoir a few feet away from my tank, and want to run just the supply tubing to it. It seems I need a diaphragm pump and not a submersible in order to do this? The only solution I really see is the Innovative Hydrofill, but the controller gets mediocre reviews.

Is there a pump I can use with the Osmolator controller (old or new)? Or another system that's reliable and would allow me to do this?

I have never used it but I assume it's just a switch that turns power on/off with the sensor so any pump would work.

How long is your reservoir to the tank?
Autoaqua has ATO with diaphragm pump. nano (for small tank) and ATO lifter (big tank).
The suction head is around 6.5 feet. and ATO lifter pump can be placed anywhere since nano is built-into controller
