Such a shame... But what has to be done has to be done. It will bounce back quickly. You are doing the right thing as much as it stinks!

Update..all fish in hospital tank. Took almost tearing down tank completely to get the last two fish (LFS had to come get them out). Funny thing, got the 2 healthiest in 5 minutes. Took over an hour to get the two sickest. LFS put tank back together as best he could. Yesterday, while glueing back corals, it partially collapsed, so I spent three hours trying to get it back together. Broke/damaged some corals. Lost my tiny aqua SD rainbow milli, but it’s done. [emoji12]
Never had to set up hospital tank. I have some health issues and had just broken a toe on the foot I had surgery on twice in the last six months, so LFS put them in a hospital tank at the store for me. They do everything I would be doing at home.

My clown was the first occupant. Hadn’t realized it was velvet at this point. He’s been in the longest.

My baby! He was the sickest, was already covered. He was doing great Sunday, hope it keeps up.
Lesson learned, I am buying the stuff for a small hospital & quarantine tank. NEVER put anything in tank before quarantining it and REMOVE all frags from plugs, because NOTHING kills the eggs (see, I learned my lesson[emoji37]) Really hope to never go through this again.
Special thanks to Eddie, at BioReef Jax, FL. Without him, I would never have pulled this off. Also, thanks to all you guys for your input and information!

Glad to hear you got the fish out and in treatment. Let us know how they do! Fingers crossed for you.

What a great LFS as well. To do that for you!

Unfortunately, I lost all of them. They seemed to be doing better... I guess it was too advanced. Really bummed. Thank you for all the advice. I really appreciate it. Have 7 weeks to try and put my tank back together. Have corals that were damaged or aren’t happy with all the “junk” stirred up while trying to remove fish.
