Started doing vinegar and currently on week 2. For the past three days my skimmer must be turned almost completely down or it will run over the top of the cup. Getting no skim mate. Also getting micro bubbles for the first time. Been keeping reefs for almost 30 years, but new to this area. Tank is a 250 g , with 40 g sump and 30 g grow out. Ca is 435, alk 8.1, mg 1450, po4 .08, no3 is 10. Trying to drop the po4 and no3 because I am planning on adding some more fish from a 90 that my mother had that is being broken down. Skimmer is a Bubble King SM250

Should add that I have a fairly large fish load, purple tang, 2 yellows, kole, sailfin, power blue, regal angel, 10 anthias, file fish

Do I keep dosing or hold off a few days?

Skimmer will go nuts. Try running it with cap removed
While increasing your bacterial load assure you’re not running nitrates down so much that it zeros out and leads to Dino

Should add the aquarium is about 5 years old and the skimmer is 3 years old.

The vinegar is white distilled 5%

Thanks everyone!
