Hey guys,

I currently have a 60g cube with the dimensions of 24x24x24, and currently I run an Ocean Revive T247 with two 24" T5 ATI Blue Plus bulbs. I want to swap out my Ocean Revive with an AI Hydra 26HD, but I'm a little worried on coverage.

Will the two pucks provide decent coverage when supplemented with my T5? Or should I opt for a Hydra 52?

It should be fine if mounted high enough. Here is 1 covering my 48 in long round tank.

I’ve got two of these over a 34g display. You’ll need AT LEAST two of them, minimum.

I had mine over a 20" cube and it felt dim, even when ramped fully up. It is now over my 10 gallon cube which is about 12" I think that is more appropriate for good spread/coverage. My suggestion would be either 2 back to back a 52 if the budget allows or perhaps even a cluster of 3 primes

Hmm, yeah maybe i'll just get a 52 and call it a day. Still much cheaper than a Radion G4...

If you plan to supplement with T5, you should be OK in my opinion. I have a pair of them over my 32x24" tank. I mounted them front to back so that I get the full coverage that way of the 24" and then spaced them a bit wider so I could get good left to right coverage. IMO, they are good or about 18x24" Mine are a good 9-10 inches above the water.
