After the first night in QT, the fish developed a discolored whitish light patch on its upper right flank. Swimming, breathing, and eating normally. By the following day, the area quadrupled in size, I performed a FW dip, but the fish was dead by that afternoon. While open sores never developed, the large white border to the area, and the speed at which it spread, leads me to think uronema. Opinions welcome!

I presume this was tank-raised. Did you have it shipped in, or did you get it at a LFS? Is your little Centropyge still ok? What other fish are in that tank?

It could be Uronema, but the presentation isn't typical.

Wild caught. Unsure how long the retailer had it. It was shipped to me. Centropyge and dottyback are both fine.

Any other thoughts? I'm going to have to order from this place again as I'm not just going to give up the credit for this loss. Thanks!
