Hello everyone,
I had a parasite breakout few months back which resulted in losing all of my beloved fish. First I thought it was ich but after research it looked like velvet (since all of my fish dropped in a very short time). However, now I recall that my clown fish had a white coating before losing them (brooklyna?) and I read that brook could also look similar to velvet (it could affect any other type of fish) not just clowns.
Flame angel was coated with small white spots
Blue tang was scratching itself against the rock and hiding most of the time.
The clown fish appeared healthy but died very fast after the big ones:
So from these pictures can we tell if its velvet or brook?
My mistake was that I didnt QT any of the fish and I didnt have another tank to save them. This truly broke my heart and almost made me to quit the hobby. But I am not giving up yet
