Water test kit

Hello does anyone have any non expensive recommendations for a water test kit I’m currently running strips but have heard some mixed things about them and want an upgrade

Salifert are not only cheap but better than test kits twice the price…you can’t go wrong buying all your tests by salifert, po4 I would go Hanna checker if you can afford it, salifert is good to say when your po4 is above 0.1 but not great for judging when below 0.1, and by the way neither are any of the other tests out there imo apart from Hanna.

You will get lots of differing opinions on that. I will agree that dip strips are not appropriate in most cases.

What parameters are you wanting to test?
What kind of tank? Fish only, reef for softies, or LPS, or SPS, etc?

autoaqua smart stir is quite suitable for mixing, price is also quite friendly
