My new blue spot puffer has been in the quarantine tank for five days. This morning he had these three white spots on the right side of his belly. What is it? How can I treat it?

Image a bit dark. These fish can be touchy and susceptible to ich and flukes. Please provide video under white bright lighting
Looks to be injury

Have you treated the QT with anything yet?
Does the fish have any other symptoms?
Is it breathing fast?
Is it still eating?

I turned off the uv light a couple of days ago because I was using seachem stability, but when I saw the spots this morning, I turned it back on. When I came home from work, the spots were gone.

No, I haven’t treated it with anything. I’ve just been watching her while my big tank cycles.

No other symptoms, she still eats, but she does look thinner.

Using stability implies this is a new tank, are you monitoring the ammonia?

When to mix up fish meal: When was the last time you tried a different brand of food for your reef?
