It may also be a Spotted Moray, Gymnothorax isingteena, as they can look remarkably similar - I'm sure there's a way to tell them apart reliably, but they've been confused in numerous articles to the point where more study has been suggested on differentiating them.Its a tesselata eel. I'm not sure how I feel about you putting your catch on here. This is a place for fishkeepers not fishers and I don't like seeing a dead tessa.
