I've got 3 tangs and a Foxface and no algae left !!

The Foxface seems to be the main man but if it's a Tang your after then my Yellow Tang seems to be next best.

Regal Tang (Hippo, blue, Dory or what ever it's called in the US) useless !!! :)

Ctenochaetus - for film algae and diatoms
Zebrasoma - for hair algae
Paracanthurus - just for looks not much else (they just keep swimming and tend to forget why they are in the tank)
Acanthurus - never owned a tank big enough for one of these

I have always had a yellow (or sailfin) and chevron (or kole) in every tank I've owned over 75 g
