What do you consider to be your "showcase" piece in your tank? Is it a coral, a fish, a rock formation?

We'd love to hear what you have to share with us! :)

For me, it's Cynarina. I recently got the opportunity to get some incredible ones for less than usual this summer, and I'm intent of spawning them at home next season. Always looking for more unique colors to add, they never get old and I love them to bits!

I have a smaller tank full of SPS frags but they'll have to grow out before I could choose a favorite
In my 180g is a mixed reef and I don't have a “favorite" but my eyes are drawn to this end of the tank more than any where else

They are hard to photograph but there are a bunch of tiny shrimp/plankton thingies that came with this tank that are fun to watch swimming around in the sump and I am hoping to get their population elevated to a level that the lps corals can continuously feed (and grow) without supplemental feedings. The fish steal most of what the lps catch from drift feeding upon excess fish foods and I don’t want to have to cover the coral so they can swallow their food.

For me It's the 24kccMancini torch coral.

You can see the color difference next to a regular 24kcc.

In person the yellow is insane!

If by coincidence your last name is Mancini then YUP :face-with-hand-over-mouth: :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing: :face-blowing-a-kiss:

It's kind of a play on the original name as this particular lineage has gotten a little heated in the torch scene lately.....

Porites Porites Porites, they are usually not expensive but its so hard to come by due to the fact that they are not popular. I’m always on the hunt for any that popup in my lfs.

Among the hardiest coral imho. Once established, it takes alot prob boiling hot water to kill it. Loves alot of light and alot of flow. Mine was basically a few small frags glued to a piece of live rock leaving abit of space in between (micro fragging), and just let it take off.

Mine is a branching type but it grows thick club like branches. Since i dont have a saw to frag it, a trick I would do is glue a acro/monti skeleton branch and let the porites overgrow it . That weird looking branch in the picture is an example of it.

I love all of my corals and nems, but this guy has been my favorite lately because it is one of the prettiest babies I’ve raised in my tank. I just wish I could take better pictures.

And if I’m allowed to break the rules, here’s another picture. “Mr. Pink Streak” is my favorite fish I’ve ever owned (along with my possum wrasse). Getting a good photo is always difficult. Here’s a decent one taken recently. I just wanted to share because the color “pop” these guys have rarely comes through in pictures online.
