Just picked up this pretty guy yesterday from my LFS. The lady said it was an Ultra and that it would host clownfish and I stupidly did not ask for more info.

It has been cartwheeling around my tank until it lodged between a rock and my wall and overnight it put out some white strings to the wall. I am slightly worried about it's positioning and from some digging am wondering if it is a Ultra Rock Flower...which would not host clownfish. :/ (Pictures to follow)

So... Because the store is closed today and I'm freaking out a little, what anemone do I have? And should I try to move it?

That’s a long tentacle anemone
Aha. Thanks! Sounds like I should move it to a hole in the sand.

Yup. Best to dig a hole to allow itself to attach to the glass

Happy to report it seems to be enjoying this new home!

Updating for anyone who might stumble upon this later - unfortunately this placement was short-lived. I have tried several places over the past week and it wiggles/floats itself out of every placement. Currently in another place between some rocks and the wall, with access to either the sand or the wall to attach.

Oh no sorry to hear this! Have you tried a bucket with sand filled up and placing him in there? These guys I hear need at least 4 inches or so.
