I currently run reefcrest most of the day with two one hour NTM's spread out, and night mode at night. I have an apex so wondering what other people run. My polyp extension is not the best and im thinking flow might have something to do with it. Anyone use other modes with success.

I should mention that I have a 105 gallon tank, with mp40 on each side a little off set.

I think I run just about everymode they have on it. I do a nutrient at dawn and dusk. Fall back is reefcrest and I have it mixed at different intervals through out the day. I have to get a RF transmitter for the other pump but when I do it will run a mix of anti sync and sync. Iam still trying to find the sweet spot for the pumps in my tank though to get the overflow the most crud. I read through a ton of peoples settings and the only thing I saw with any consitency was the nutrient mode at least twice a day.

My settings
Fallback Reef
Set Reef
If Time 08:00 to 09:00 Then Nutrient
If Time 12:00 to 14:00 Then Lagoon
If Time 16:00 to 18:00 Then Pulse
If Time 18:00 to 20:00 Then Nutrient
If Time 22:00 to 06:00 Then Night
If FeedA 000 Then Slow
If FeedB 000 Then Constant
If FeedD 000 Then OFF
If FeedC 000 Then Nutrient

I have two mp10s I was running both on reef crest, recently switched one to short pulse and got a decent wave going.. everything seems to like the change. the other one is still on reef crest. pretty much everything seems happier with the wave action..

Correct in the Apex but you must be using the WXM module
You create a profile called Nutrient (for example).
Then using normal outlet programming you use a time trigger like If Time 08:00 to 09:00 Then Nutrient were at 08:00 it will run the profile called Nutrient at whatever setting you put into the profile

This is mine
This is what I used controlled through Apex
If Time 11:01 to 11:15 Then NT (Nutrient Transport Max Power 90%)
If Time 11:16 to 18:00 Then LagoonA (Lagoon Mode anti sync Max Power 50%)
If Time 18:01 to 18:15 Then NT (Nutrient Transport Max Power 90%)
If Time 18:16 to 11:00 Then Lagoon_N (Lagoon night Mode Max Power 20%)

I believe fusion is an update
Also I am assuming the wxm modules will still be needed to communicate between the devices

I use nutrient transport for the day and night mode at lights off. Had the pump for a year before I realized once you set night mode it works every day. Duhh
