Hey all,

not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but I'll try anyways.

So I was walking my dog next to this pond that formed near my house due to all the rain we've been having, and I stumbled upon these little things.

They look like mega sized brine shrimp! I know there are other animals that look similar to brine shrimp (like sea monkeys), but how would they end up in a freshwater pond created by rain?

Also, just out of pure curiosity, would it be a bad idea to feed these guys to my fish? I know their living conditions aren't very healthy for the fish (stagnant, muddy, brown water), but would it harm my marine and freshwater fish if I fed these to them? It would be free food for them if I can feed them these things, haha!

I'd really appreciate the help guys. :)

PS: not sure if this matters, but I live in Northern California. 337707609_751363893349051_3492546821552214013_n.jpg 337636911_241534431566161_9165769248346959311_n.jpg 337638836_696417022281214_301200661771244616_n.jpg 337636288_154515260876876_8304573150907612560_n.jpg 336372916_771420251012887_575258053010110536_n.jpg 337748751_616334903257667_1543049778328753498_n.jpg 337624035_6234017883326151_914447972274790032_n.jpg 337577867_1203939200324663_4649569253407713191_n.jpg 337875074_547974520737936_7706639317094363642_n.jpg
