Hey guys I have a pretty fairly clean tank and I have a 150 Phosban reactor, what media would be best to benefit my tanks health?

Yea, pretty much just that. IF you wind up with higher Po4 you can add GFO. My .02Carbon for sure.

Carbon for sure.
Chemi Pure is GFO. Any phosphate reducing media is I believe.
not sure. I just did a quick google. Regular carbon is cheap, so is gfo. I prefer to be able to measure both separately.Oh I thought chemi pure original is just carbon and chemi pure elite is with GFO?
Ok what do you use? What brand of carbon?not sure. I just did a quick google. Regular carbon is cheap, so is gfo. I prefer to be able to measure both separately.
I have a 5 year old bottle of phosguard gfo and the carbon I have now is a generic.Ok what do you use? What brand of carbon?

I would advise against ROX in a new tank, its aggressive and I guess messy. SO it takes some practice.
there ya go.Ok nice, I was just thinking about going with Red Sea carbon! It's 20 bucks for a big container of it on Amazon!
good to know. Thanks. Some newer users report "splinters".I've used rox carbon for years, way less dust than activated carbon and absorbs more as well. I know it recommended already to not use it in a newer tank (good advice) but if you cut the amount back from the recommended amount the good far outweighs the bad with this carbon.

Ok I may have to try this then! Is it the carbon by aqua maxx?
I think aquamaxx, brs and vertex all make it. I use the vertex brand because I get it on Amazon prime for cheap haha
Ok! Hey dang I have Amazon prime would you send me the link to the one you buy please?
