Just took out another one from my system, probably under 1mm, I think that they may form male/female pairs as I've only ever found 2 at most per coral and one always tends to be much larger than the other.

I think I've gotten all the large individuals out of my system (which I assume are all females)

Going to close the expirament, I've found that they can stay alive for over a week without a food source, maybe even 2 weeks! Can't get my hands on a frag that I'm willing to sacrifice so I'll be preserving the individuals in ethyl alcohol for further study

@ISpeakForTheSeas I'll update you with close-up photos for a potential ID

As it turns out Red Sea test tubes are the perfect size for preserving a sea spider. Couldn't find the second one but here's the larger individual! I'll update you when I have macro photos

Hey! Another UK reefer with a sea spider!

Check out my critter ID thread! Someone mentioned you and I thought you might be interested.
