What's coming out of my bubble anemone?

What's this string looking thing coming out of the anemone?

Looks to be waste to me

Looks very bleached. Mine is bleached as well. On his way to recovery for about 4 months. His mouth would gape open and he would spit out xoozanthalae or however you spell it. I'd research the posts on here about sick nems. Help get some ideas on how to help him recover.
