What's growing out of the hammer skeleton?

Hi,

I recently picked up a hammer from another reefer. He fragged it while I was there and didn't put on a plug. I have it in a QT tank (without a plug yet). I just noticed an aiptasia looking like thing growing out of the bottom and side of the hammer skeleton. Is it aiptasia or something else? Thanks!

I don’t see Aptasia.
A filter feeder of some sort.
Scrape it off if you like

That's definitely aiptasia. Do treatment in a separate container of SW, to prevent spreading of the pest.
