Anyone know what this is on my favites? It's been growing extremely well and noticed these spots a few days ago. I know the color in the pic isn't the best but the flesh is red/orange and those 2 spots are a lighter color (more purple) with less texture than the surrounding flesh. 3rd pic is for reference of what it looked like a month ago (with a filter).

Take a peak late at night and see if either is sending out sweepers….sometimes it is surprising how far sweepers can reach, though it sounds like you have pretty good clearance.

Took a few nights but caught a glimpse of the sweepers and it’s several inches away still. Here is a pic with natural light. The 2 spots swell and deflate many times a day.

Sorry, but it is hard to tell, maybe a bacterial infection?

I wonder if it's similar to when frogspawn/hammers get a bubble... often precedes a split.
