Yeah I have to wait until my family is out of the house for a couple hours also. It does smell up the house quite bad. I’m allergic to shellfish also so it’s a bit of a challenge but I still find it worth it. My wife thinks I’m crazy.
If the smell is that strong I may just take the food processor out to the porch to keep my wife from being angry.

Grocery store live clams/mussels --> garage workbench --> shuck/chop/freeze
*wash the heck out of the cutting board and throw it outside for a couple days

Apparently lol. I just remember I had some frozen mussels so I thawed them and just finished cutting them out of the shell and with that alone my wife is not happy.

WOW, sounds like my wife, I love seafood and my wife hates it. Occasionally, I fix some for myself and she leaves the house for the evening because "of the smell" :rolling-on-the-floor-laughing:

Yep when I make crab legs my wife will find somewhere else to spend the evening. I like some seafood, but I’m not a big fan of oysters, clams, or mussels.

anyone have a good recipe for smaller fish / corals mixed?
I'm assuming the pieces just need to be smaller for their mouths, but do you add anything special in for them?

how much food did this make for you and how long did it last before you had to make a new batch?
did you place it in sandwich bags? how many did you fill up?

It made a lot, I would say it was close to over a year.
Yes I made several small freezer quart bags make them really thin half the thickness of a pencil (my preference) it made atleast 12 bags but I really can’t remember.

My next batch (current) I halved the recipe, I also removed

dried krill
BRS Paracoccus powder
BRS Spirulina Powder
