Hi,
Im not sure where to buy hermit crab shells. I've seen some on Amazon, but Im not sure if they are safe for aquarium use (I've seen pictures of then being used on land hermit crabs, but not marine ones)
I went to my LFS to check if they sell them, they do but they are a bit overpriced I think ($2.5 without tax for one)
Where do people usually buy their hermit crab shells and what's a "fair" price for them?

My LFS sells for 10/1$.
Never need to buy them as my system has been running for years and crabs eventually die so there are always left over shells about.
where are at?

Is there a way to tell if the shells are aquarium safe? I heard if it's glossy it would be bad
Also what do you soak it in? Tap water, rodi water or salt water?
