I was going to post this in the current tang thread but I thought it might be hi-jacking.. Anyway..Our tank is becoming more established and I need to make a plan in which order to add the tangs. The display is a 225 6"X2'Wx 30T lots of room to swim both in front and in back of the rock structures. I have a pretty good list of tangs that I would like to add, they are as follows.
  • Blonde Naso Tang
  • Hippo Tang
  • Kole Tang - I know these are nasty lil buggers and may not make the cut.
  • Yellow Tangs Yes I would like more than one.
  • Sailfin Tang
So the ask is based on your knowledge what order should these guys be added to the tank, and if there are any that are not going to mix at all then who is the more peaceful of the two.

Cheers, Happy Friday.

I’ve seen a yellow tang stress 2 blue throat triggers to death. Chased them and picked and slashed them. They are beautiful. My sail fin is a model citizen spats with the foxface once and a while.

Yes, I have heard that about Yellow Tangs and that they are not exactly model citizens. I might have to exclude them, but I would rather not. I wonder if any of the Aqua-cultured Yellow tangs are any more docile.

I wonder if keeping them in groups lessons their aggressions to other fish.
