This morning I noticed these white spots near the top of one of my clownfish near the dorsal fin. I'm setting up the hospital tank now but I'd appreciate some help with identifying the disease so I can treat it correctly. Thanks!

My first though was ich, but agree with sharkbait, it could be Lympho. However, the clear cases of lymph ive seen the spots, aren’t that many at that’s size.
how long have you had the fish? If they aren’t new, have you added anything else new that wasn’t quarantined to the tank that could have brought in disease?

I agree this could be Crypto(ich). I think early stage velvet is also a possible candidate given the small size of the spots. In either case, as others have suggested, you should place in a QT with Coppersafe or Copper Power with a solution of 2.5 ppm as quickly as possible. Add half of the copper immediately and the second half to reach full concentration in 12 hours.

Edit: The additional photos you provided clearly show consistently sized spots over most areas of the body, so I think lympho is unlikely.

Full QT protocol is outlined in the following:

What I look for are the spots on the fish's fins. That rules out "mucus spots". I agree that the spots on the head in the one shot look raised up more than ich typically is, but the rest of the spots look like classic ich.

The one clown also has some redness to the white stripe on the left side...may be an injury.

I would contact the pet store. If your fish have ich the day after you bought them, the store may be able to tell you if the tank they came from also has some issues.

Coppersafe in a treatment tank would be the way to go here.
