How old is your tank? What type of snails do you have?

Could be the beginning of spirobis worms (which are good guys). Just keep and eye on them.

It has been cycled about 10 weeks so about 3 months old. I have 2 turbos and about 7 Austria , I think thats how to spell it lol. Just noticed this for a couple of weeks. A spot here and there. Today is more than Ive seen in the past. Maybe 10 in total. My alk has been at 6.8 dkh from the start up until 2 weeks ago. I dosed seachem reef builder to bring up alk to 8.5 over about a weeks time so I thought it may have something to do with that. Ive heard of precipitation or something so I wasnt sure. I chose reef builder because it raises alk without changing other parameters. All are in correct range on the high side as well.

You have a new tank it's common to get those worms. I had them all over my sump and one by one they've disappeared with time. Snails eggs as well but normally you'd seen them in clusters on the glass and probably bigger.

I recently had some snails that went crazy depositing eggs everywhere in my tank. All over the back wall and over some rocks. Do any of those snails actually end up making it in our systems? I know that probably depends on a lot of factors, but curious if people have seen their CUC increase?

Do the white dots look like this? Those look pretty clustered though. Either way I don't think you have any bad guys on your glass. If you add fish or have them already they'll probably clean these up or they'll go away with time.

Mine have. I started with a dozen trochus and probably have 150+ in the tank now. Fairly new system (150g) and nothing to control population other than starving. My wife calls it my snail tank now. I've started removing into a small tank that I can keep dirty to feed them and sell/trade.

how long did it take for these to hatch? They're everywhere on my glass and I'm hoping they turn into sizeable snails.
