I got a Tomini Tang for my 75 gallon in December. When I first got him I would see him swimming all over the thank . But for the last month or so, he hides every time I walk into the room. Even when I feed the tank he does venture very far from his hiding spot, only peaks halfway out to grab some mysis. Any idea on why he has become so scared??

What other tank occupants which could be intimidating it?
Any change in lighting or light schedule ?

The lighting schedule has not changed since from the beginning. In December I added 5 fish all at the same time. I added the Tomini, pair of clowns, and pair of banggi Cardinals. I did end up taking out one of the Banggi, because the little one was being chased all the time. So right now its just the four of them in the tank.

Clowns are my suspect
Place your phone on video mode for 1/2 hour , feed and walk away
Come back in 1/2 hour to review video as tomini would have come out to eat and see if the clowns are annoying or chasing it

The Tomini comes out when I am not there. Its just when I walk into the room I see him make a dash for his cave. And I put a piece of Nori in there 4 days a week and its always gone.

mine is the same. i just chalk it up as the tomini feels its got a prime piece of real estate locked down and isn't interested in giving it up.
adding a dither fish to the system may result in more social activity in some cases.... or it may do nothing!
