Ive never heard of such a thing
That's an expensive snack. Many years ago I previously had a black cardinal (I think) and walked in to find him with a small clownfish stuck halfway down his throat. A lot of similarities to the Banggai, big mouth etc. Hence my question.
If you have enough hiding spots in branchy corals such as seriatopora hystrix or certain acros it shouldn’t be an issue. As per the title. I am wondering if they eat small fish. Certainly I have seen other types of cardinals eat small fish, so I am concerned about whether I should buy one.
