Will zoas not grow if constantly harassed by tank mates?

I have a Dracula Zia that hasn’t grown at all since I added it to the tank. I believe I have good water parameters and lighting, though up until recently, my pH has been low (7.8 => 8.0).

I notice that my two hermit crabs regularly crawl over it, or poke around it looking for food. Would this harassment keep the Zia from growing?
