What do you put under your sump?

Hi, I'm trying to decide if I should put something under the sump to catch drips or weight distribution for the acrylic sump. I've read on this forum some puts a drip pan/liners to catch drips. Some uses some sort of rubber mat. What are you using?

Bonus #4: I would put a torch and mushroom garden inside the tank. I'm not sure what fish, but I would want to put a yellow tang inside and a harlem of different types of clownfish. I would want to put a powder blue tang but I don't think there would be enough space.
