Im looking at lift options for my lighting rack. I dont have space for a desk riser, and I have a plan to use linear actuators but its nearly $1000. So Im also looking at using a 4 point pulley system which is simple enough, but I cant seem to find a winch thats not a heavy duty garage unit.

For the guys that have done a pulley system, what did you use?

I looked at a number of winch/lift solutions when researching my build. The are many solutions, most starting (unfortunately) around the $1,000 range. Here's a company you can start out your research on for possible solutions:
Hope this helps.
Cheers,

@kenchilada Had constructed something for his build. Perhaps he can provide some help.
