I recently noticed these worm looking critters coming out at night. Anybody know what they are of it they're harmful?

Those are amphipods. Do an image search and see what you think.

Looks like bristle worms. This organism is part of the unseen clean up crew in all aquaria unless there is a population explosion and then they are noticed. The large number might reflect a large amount of food to eat in the aquarium.
