Hi!

I have about 30 sexy shrimps in a pico tank together with some macro algae and a single peppermint shrimp.

I don't think there's that many keeping sexy shrimps so I would love to connect with others keeping them.

Mine live in a 4.5 gallon w halymenia, chaeto and dead mans finger algae (can't remember the latin name). they prefer to hang out on the dead mans finger.

I feed them frozen artemia, Hikari pellets an flakes. But I donøt think I have cracked the feeding and portions yet. Would be awesome to hear what you are feeding and how much?

Do your SS have tank mates?

I had mine in the bigger tank of mine but they were scattered all over the tank and also some ended up in my filter. So I made a tank just for them...

I had a pair in a 2 gallon jar in my kitchen for about 2.5 years. I enjoyed them in a tiny tank like that, but I think in a larger display they would be hard to find. 30 is a lot, are you breeding them?

I’m new to these, I put 2 in my 1.1g pico just over a week ago, they seem to host my torch coral base but they do venture out and explore also

got my 2 today, they are also frequenting my torch base

Mine ended up eating zoanthids. Also I thought they were “cleaning” my torch, but when my torches were closed up for over a week ininvedtigated and they are jabbing at the flesh hand with their little needle pokers and picking at them both. I ended up moving the shrimp to my main tanks sump. And then after 10 days of being closed, the torches started opening again.

Be careful and watch for signs of torch stress

I have 2 in my 125g softie/nem/clownfish harem tank. There are so many anemones now that they choose different ones to live in and wander. They seem to prefer carpet anemones to bubble tips tho.

I want to put them in another tank but am wondering what corals they will host? I don’t want any anemones in this tank - especially carpets- because they are too good at catching little fish.
