Greetings fellow reefers!

I’ve just upgraded to a 100+ gallon tank. All my livestock is still in my smaller tank. I’m wanting to move live rock into my new system but just did some preliminary water tests and concerned about the dKH reading. We opted to use Tropic Marin Sun-biotic salt this time. Current specific gravity is 1.023, pH 7.8, dKH 6.3 (freshly mixed salt is supposed to have a dKH of 8-9 according to manufacturer)

It’s been greater than 24 hours since mixing - any ideas why the dKH might be running so low? I’m hesitant to move my live rock in there. Should I add some baking soda?
