yellow tang with red gills and mouth

Hi fellow reefers

I have a yellow tang in QT right now. It has been in coppersafe for about 3 weeks now and just developed red in its gills and around its mouth. I am assuming this is a bacterial infection?

I have been feeding with focus and metro and it eats no problem. All other fish look great.

Is there anything I can treat with at the same time as coppersafe and not affect the others?

What about your ammonia level in QT? Redness around the gills can indicate ammonia burn.

Sounds like a bacterial infection then. Can you post a pic?
