After some research, I have decided to add a zeovit reactor to my system, which consists of a 150, 50 gallon sump and 30 gallon frag tank. I currently run a bio pellet reactor, and wondered if there is any reason to keep that running, once I install the zeovit reactor. I have read, several times, that you can remove a GFO reactor, when running zeovit, but haven't read anything about bio-pellets. It seems counter productive to run both bio-pellets and zeovit, as they both do similar things.

I opted for the 3 liter, Aqua Maxx reactor, with Korallen zeovit media.

Yes, they would be counter productive. I would just stick to Zeo.
