zoanthid eating frogspawn

horrible pic i know, but here's one of my zoos eating the tip of a frogspawn:
theres also a splitting polyp in the bottom right corner.

thats wack! lol but i imagine all of those zoas closed up around where the zoa is *eating* the frogspawn will die due to the encounter.

i'd better move em. i'll let ya know how it "ends". the one polyp did actually eat the tip of the spawn.

Actually that looks like the frogspawn was stinging the zoanthid polyp, and the zoanthid retracted and accidently caught the frogspawn tentacle in its closed polyp. Frogspawn tend to do that. They will stretch out and sting another coral if it gets too close. Ya, I'd move one of the two so the frogspawn has a bit more room. ;)

it seemed to have consumed the tip of the spawn. i moved them and they opened up. we'll see...
