Hydroids:
Agreed with hydroids:
I've heard smothering the hydroids with kalk paste may work, but here are some other threads with suggestions that might be helpful:
These may help:

This is after a 3% peroxide dip 50ml in 500ml of water.
Considered medium strenght by this guide

We will see the results soon, good or bad haha.

I've dealt with a different species in my tank - cutting out fine particle foods has helped tons and most are restricted to the undersides of rocks now. Not sure if this a catch all for every type of hydroid but something to consider.

so little update, the peroxide did **** all... They are now back in force and everywhere on my rocks...

I went to my local LFS and picked up 2 more tiny blue legs, 1 peppermint shrimp and 1 emerald crab because I have read on some forums about them eating it the hydroids.

I will be updating this in a few days or week if I notice anything to help anyone with the same issue.

Doing a peroxide dip, adding a crab and shrimp while also feeding less particulates seemed to have worked. I don't see them anymore but my zoa seems to have been stinged. They haven't opened yet since.
