so i purchased this zoa it only has 9 maybe 10 lil heads on it for 12 bucks, but when i got home an was about to put it in i noticed this red blotch on one side does anyone know what this might be? safe or dangerous?? thx mike

To me it looks like a type of red bubble algae. Is it slimy to the touch? If so get it off the plug as it could spread like wild fire.

It looks like red bubble algae like NUREEFIN says takee it off out side of the tank if the bubbles pop
inside your tank they might grow and spread inside your tank. Its a nuisance algae, it will grow
between your polyps not allowing the coral to spread.
