I know zoas poop from their mouth, but I’m not sure that’s what’s happening here. This looks like a very long (very strange) poop. Is that what this is? Or is something else going on?

I did just recently switch from Reefroids to Benereef. Could that have something to do with it?

When my coral do that, I put it under the microscope. I usually see zooxanthellae. The cause of it I'm not sure, but don't notice any ill effects. Could be the case here as well.

Looks like it must’ve eaten some Taco Bell.

Jokes aside, nothing looks strange here. I have some different zoas that do the same thing, especially when well fed.
