So I have (2) tanks now and have only been in the hobby for about 8 months. Started with a 13 gallon in august 2023 then bought a 150 gallon in January 24
My zoas in my small tank were not opening all the way and not growing So I sent for an ICP test and It came back low on iodine I did not understand it really so they were suggesting I dose their own Iodine. I bout and dosed brightwell lugols iodine which is far more concentrated so I thought I would destroy my tank
A few days after adding my zoas fully opened and started having noticeable growth.
My big 150 gallon I am having same issues with my zoas
I dont get it my SPS difficult corals are doing fine but I cant get my zoas looking good
Is there a reliable Iodine test kit anyone uses?

There are different types of iodine. There are loads of articles about iodine in this forum. Red Sea has a good test kit. ICP can sometimes miss the mark
